General Rules

  1. Team rosters are fluid until the first week of play in the second half. Players can be added to your roster until then. A player may only be assigned to one team roster at a time.
  2. A team shall consist of a maximum of 6 players and a minimum of 4 players. 2 females must be on the court at all times. If playing with 4 players, playing with 1 female is allowed, however this is discouraged and a ghost player must be used (ie. Loss of point and serve after 5th rotation).
  3. Each team will be expected to show up early to help set up the net (early matches) and take down the net (late matches).
  4. Disagreements and rule discussions should be handled by the captains. If disagreement can’t be settled, replay the point.
  5. Call your own violations and call your team’s violations. Please don’t call another team’s violations. If there is an issue with non-calls, please speak to the opposing team’s captain.
  6. To be eligible for playoffs, players must have played in at least 3 official league matches across the entire season.
  7. Forfeiting – If your team cannot make it to a league night, you must notify the League Director by 3pm on Tuesday so that schedules can be adjusted. Failure to notify the League Director of a forfeit by 3pm on the day of play may result in undisclosed penalties.
  8. Please keep children within the gym and refrain them from playing with school property.
